The American Cancer Society’s 2014 Union County Relay For Life was held Friday and Saturday, June 6-7, at the Anna-Jonesboro Community High School track and field. The event brought community members together to help support the work done by the American Cancer Society.
Relay For Life is an annual overnight event which is held to celebrate the lives of those who have cancer, to remember loved ones who have been lost to the disease and to fight back against the disease.
Mrs. Louise B. Dillow, age 93 of Anna, died at 11:26 a.m. Sunday, May 11, 2014 in the Hidden Lake Care Center in St. Louis, MO. She was born November 16, 1920 in Jonesboro, the daughter of Guy and Hulda Reischauer Bowen. She married Joseph Burns Dillow on November 7, 1941 in Jonesboro. He preceded her in death on April 28, 1989.

Zach Moore was the winning pitcher with a three-hitter to go with 9 strikeouts and a walk.
