Wanda Lee Hill

Wanda Lee Hill, 79, of Anna, died at 2:10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015 in the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was born April 27, 1936 in Marion, the daughter of Ray and Nora (Funkhouser) Graves.

She is survived by her three daughters, Vickie (Grover) Mays of Anna, Karen (Terry) Trammel of Cobden, Lori (James) Todd of Anna; one son Billy Davis of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; 14 grandchildren, Grover Gene (Carissa) Mays, Adam (Wendy) Mays, Mika (Andy) Sadler, Brad Trammel, Lucas Trammel, Corey Trammel, Megan (Miles) Hammer-Cole, Kaci Clary, Jordan Isom, Brandon Davis, Brianna Holtman, Steven (Tiffany) Todd, Bryan (Jessica) Todd, and Nikki (Thomas) Hill; 30 great-grandchildren; one sister, Jane Schroeder of Herrin; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded by three sisters, Eva Jackson, Barbara Madding, and Thelma Graves; one brother, Jimmy Graves; and a very special friend, Wilbur "Tuffy" Foster.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church for many years. She was a hairdresser and for 18 years worked as a clerk for Wal-Mart in Anna.

She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, and the Anna Moose Lodge. Her favorite place was the Smokey Mountains, visiting there with her family. Wanda was an avid St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan, and loved watching NASCAR races and U of I College Basketball.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Jimmy Keller officiating. Interment was in the Big Creek Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Envelopes will be available in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
