Wanda J. Smith

Wanda J. Smith, 54, of Wolf Lake, died at 12:32 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015 in the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was born April 16, 1961 in East St. Louis, Illinois, the daughter of Leo Adams and Betty Jean Turner Smith.

She is survived by her son, Kyle David Smith of Wolf Lake; sisters and brothers, Shirley Jean (Ronald) Kernan of Belleville, Leroy (Dianne) Lindsey of Belleville, Susie (Don) Kitchel of Florida, Larry Joe Sr. (Pennie) Lindsey of Caseyville; dear friend, Humble Harris of Wolf Lake; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She enjoyed fishing, playing pool on her league and softball. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Bobby Richardson officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
