Versella G. “Sally” Kelley

Versella G. “Sally” Kelley, 87, of Anna, died at 6:10 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, 2010, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born on May 6, 1922, in Carmi, the daughter of William and Sarah Simpson Oschmann.

She married Ernest Ray Kelley. He preceded her in death on June 2, 1977.

She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy (Earl) Shoemaker of Anna and Norma (Keith) Tite of Ozark; one son, Allen (Carole) Kelley of Buncombe; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ernest; by one brother and one sister.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Anna for many years and a former member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary of Anna.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, today, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Pastor Dale Billingsley officiating. Interment will be in the Cobden Cemetery.
