Tony S. Hollingsworth

Tony S. Hollingsworth, 63, of Villa Ridge, and formerly of Pontotoc, Miss., died at 4:13 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born on Sept. 13, 1946, in Hattisburg, Miss., the son of John W. and Birdie J. Obannon Hollingsworth.

Survivors include a brother, Shannon Hollingsworth of Villa Ridge; two sisters, Louise Garrett and Carolyn Jenkins, both of Mississippi; one half-brother, Harold Williams of Guy, Ark.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 17, at Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc, Miss., with the Rev. Joey McKinnis officiating.

Interment was in McCrite Cemetery in Pontotoc County, Miss.

Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge was in charge of local arrangements.
