Tomas Murillo

Tomas Murillo, 73, of Cobden, died at 2 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2009, at his home in Cobden.

He was born on Nov. 20, 1935, in Ojo de Agua de la Yerbaguera, GTO, Mexico, the son of J. Guadalupe Murillo and Maria Martinez.

He married Sofia Carmona.

Mr. Murillo is survived by his wife, Sofia of Cobden; eight children, Ma. Luisa Murillo, Nicolas Murillo, Jose G. Murillo, Raul Murillo, Juan Murillo, Antonio Murillo, Elvira Murillo and Isidoro Murillo; one brother, Leonor Murillo Martinez; 24 grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for Mr. Murillo were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cobden with Father Uriel Salamanca and Father Federico Higuera officiating.

Interment will be in Pantion Municipal Cemetery in Santiago Maravatio, GTO, Mexico.

Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden is in charge of arrangements.
