Thomas Wesley Cramner

Thomas Wesley Cramner, 77, of Olmsted, died at 8:48 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 2009, at his home.

Mr. Cramner was born on May 21, 1932, in Delaplaine, Ark., the son of Francis D. Cramner and Elsie G. Watson Cramner.

Mr. Cramner was an Army veteran. He was a retired truck driver. He was a member of Boaz Pentecostal Church.

Mr. Cramner was preceded in death by his first wife, Ella Bernice Cramner on July 17, 1984.

Survivors include his wife, Melba Cramner; two sons, Tom Cramner of Sikeston, Mo. and James Cramner of Olmsted; three daughters, Debbie Payne and Candy Fowler, both of Sikeston, Mo., and Elsie Crecelius of Olmsted; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; five sisters, Margaret Colleen Colbroth of Mounds, Diane Monan of Mound City, Rita Nicholes of Olmsted, Billie Nicholes of Martin, Tenn., and Velma Tolbert of Paducah; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Cramner were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge with the Rev. Mike Sharp officiating.

Interment was in the Mound City National Cemetery with full military honors given by the Illinois Army National Guard honors detail and local veterans.

Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge was in charge of arrangements.
