Stephen Louis Wills

Stephen Louis Wills, 57, of Cobden past away on Sunday, June 28, 2009 at 2:50 p.m. in Cobden at his home.

    Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Meredith Funeral Chapel, Grand Tower, IL with Reverend Bob Fear officiating.  Interment will be at Walker Hill Cemetery, Grand Tower, IL. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the chapel.

    He was born to Louis Charles and Ruth Marie (Burke) Wills on July 18, 1951.  On September 02, 1972 he was united in marriage to Kathryn Irene (Creed) Wills at the United Methodist Church in Grand Tower, IL.  After 29 years of services, he retired from the Grand Tower CIPS.  He was also a life member of N. R. A.

    He is survived of the home by his wife Kathy of Cobden; mother, Ruth Marie Wills of Grand Tower; son, Eric Lee Wills of Grand Tower; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Marie (Wills) and Bobby Joe Ellet of Grand Tower; one grandson, Brock Joseph Ellet of Grand Tower, one brother and sister-in-law, James & Cathy Wills of Jacob, IL;  two sisters and brother-in-laws Mark & Marilyn (Wills) Reiman of Murphysboro, IL, and Steve & Joyce (Wills) Vasseur of Paducah, KY; three sister-in-laws and their spouses Diana & Arthur Ward of Cobden, and Laura & Herb Sniff of Mt. Rose, MI, Linda & Jerry Allman of Clio, MI; one brother-in-law, Bob Creed of Benton, MO and many nieces and nephews.
