Shawnee girls improve to 6-3

The visiting Shawnee High School girls’ basketball team took over in the second quarter on the way to  a 41-34 win over Delta, Mo., Tuesday, Nov. 20.

Shawnee trailed 7-6 after one quarter, but came back to pull ahead 23-14 at the half. 

Laycee Presutti had 12 points and 10 rebounds to lead Shawnee. Katie Charles added 11 points and 6 rebounds. Kylie Holloway had 7 points and 2 rebounds. 

Mariah Faire had 4 points and 4 rebounds. Autumn McMahan had 4 points, 2 assists and 2 steals and Kirsten Pitts had 3 points, 8 rebounds and a blocked shot.

Shawnee, 6-3, is scheduled to play Thursday, today, at Pope County.
