Junior golf clinic held in Anna

The Union County Country Club in Anna hosted a junior golf clinic June 14-20.
The clinic finished with a golf scramble on Monday, June 20.
The young golfers were instructed in golf etiquette, course management and the rules of the game.
Professional Golfers' Association professional Brandon Bierstedt was the main instructor for the clinic.
He had a team of other instructors made up of golfers who had taught at the annual program for more than five years, and some who had actually been through the program as kids.
The program was free for Union County young people between the ages of 7 and 16.
Clinic participants received a free youth golf membership at the country club for the remainder of this year.
