Special asset

To the editor,

Some of us forget that in our community we have an asset that other towns in our area do not have.

We are lucky to have a wonderful public swimming pool that is utilized by both kids and adults.

It is staffed by high school and college age kids who help make it a safe and enjoyable experience.

Not only is there an open swim in the afternoon, two lap swims, private lessons and parties at night, it is also open every day when weather permits, all summer long.

Those of us who take advantage of our public pool realize how lucky we are.
