Spalt top Illinois pitcher

<p class="p1">Cobden High School’s Logan Spalt finished as Illinois’ top prep pitcher this past spring, according to the nationwide MaxPreps website.</p><p class="p1">Out of 500 pitchers, the Appleknocker junior finished with a 12-1 pitching mark, with a winning percentage of .923. He also had a save.</p>
