Southend StumpJumpers present annual variety show Saturday night

The Southend Stump-Jumpers presented their 16th annual ColorFest variety show last Saturday night.

The show was staged in the auditorium at Anna-Jonesboro Community High School.

The theme for the 2013 show was "M*A*S*H."

Saturday night's show featured an appearance by Southern Illinois singer Danny Norman, who performed "I am an American."

The program presented at the show follows:

American Trilogy: John Nimmo.

Pledge of Allegiance: Girl Scout Troops, Numbers 8552 and 8553.

Tribute to Brian Romines and veterans: LaShonna Pinnon, Mike Stegle.

Performances by Olivia Gordon, Meghan Smith, Jay Jay Vaughn, Katy Williams; Debra Hertenstein; Macy Shelton; Jaley Watkins; Daniel Cohen; Jim Cato; Terrie Hale; Julia Hall; Brenna Hamson; Linda Clutts; The Butter Beans, John Nimmo Group; John Nimmo and Ensemble.

Refreshments were provided by the A-JCHS Friends of the Theater.

Proceeds from the variety show helped to support the American Red Cross and the Southern Illinois Honor Flight.
