Shawnee outscores Egyptian

Tyler Glidewell was 3-for-3 with 2 RBIs to lead Shawnee to an 18-3 win over host Egyptian in the final game of the regular season in South Egyptian Conference high school baseball Thursday, Oct. 1.

Adam Pennington was 3-for-3 with an RBI. Greg Smith was 3-for-4 with 2 RBIs. Tyler Brant was 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs.

Ty McMahan was 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs. Gavyn Ellet was 2-for-4 with 3 RBIs. Aaron Lambdin was 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Kyle Stevens was 1-for-2 with an RBI. Dylan Smith was 1-for-4 with an RBI.

Greg Smith and Glidewell pitched in the win.

Smith pitched 4 innings and allowed 3 hits to go with 4 walks and 8 strikeouts.

Glidewell pitched an inning and struck out the side.
