Robert “Bob” Ruble, Jr.

Robert “Bob” Ruble, Jr., age 41 of Grand Chain, died at 12:38 PM on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the Union County Hospital. 

He was born on September 14, 1970 in Blue Island the son of Robert and Carolyn Sue (Hornback) Ruble, Sr.  He married Tammy Knotts on July 3, 1997.  She survives him.

Bob loved to go fishing and camping with his boys.  He was a member of Living Waters Church in Joppa.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy; 3 sons, Robert Allen Ruble of Vienna, Tristan S.L. Ruble and John Robert Ruble both of Grand Chain; his father, Robert Louis Ruble, Sr. of Chesterton, Ind.; 1 brother, Rick Littlemeyer Ruble of Chesterton, Ind; and 2 sisters, Tasha Arrison and Connie Littlemeyer both of Metropolis.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Sue Ruble.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Living Waters Church in Joppa.

Crain Funeral Home in Ullin is in charge of arrangements.
