<strong style="">Rheta “Betty” Williams, age 78, of Thebes, died at 8:53 PM, Friday, March 16, 2012 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.</strong>
<strong style="">She was born February 3, 1934 to Sidney and Martha Clara (Waterman) Callis in Miller City.</strong>
<strong style=""> </strong>
<strong style="">Betty was a member of Trinity Assembly of God Church and farmed all of her life.</strong>
<strong style=""> </strong>
<strong style="">She is survived by 2 sisters, Cynthia (F. Kenneth) Rivet of Thebes, Judy (Kenneth) Tanksley of Quitman, TX;<span style=""> </span> 1 brother, Mike (Wanda) Callis of Hecker, IL, sister-in-law, Beatrice Williams of Olive Branch; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and other relatives.</strong>
<strong style=""> </strong>
<strong style="">Betty was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Sidney Joe Callis, Donald Williams, and infant brother, Terry Callis.</strong>
<strong style=""> </strong>
<strong style="">Visitation will be 5:00 -8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.</strong>

<strong style="">Funeral services for Rheta “Betty” Williams will be Wednesday, March 21, 2012<span style=""> </span> <span style=""> </span>at<span style=""> </span> 11:00 AM<span style=""> </span> at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Baumgard Cemetery with <span style=""> </span>Rev. Stephen Clardy officiating.</strong>
