Registration now underway for FCA Power Camp in July

Registration is open for the upcoming Union County Fellowship of Christian Athletes Power Camp.

The Power Camp will be at Anna-Jonesboro High School Tuesday through Thursday, July 7-9 and is free.

The Power Camp is being sponsored by the Anna-Jonesboro FCA Golf Scramble and the Anna Kiwanis Club.

Children who will be entering the 5th through 8th grades in the fall of 2009 in Union County schools are eligible to attend the FCA Power Camp. Each day’s activities will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will conclude at 3 p.m.

Free transportation is available to the camp from designated pick up points around Union County.

A day at camp will include interaction with area high school athletes and coaches leading sports clinics, lunch, music, inspirational speakers and small group discussions.

Each participant will receive an FCA day camp t-shirt, lunch each day, sports instruction, an FCA camp New Testament and more.

Clinics will be held daily in baseball, softball, basketball, cheerleading, football, volleyball, soccer, track and field and wrestling.

Brochures were recently distributed through area schools. Registration will remain open until June 26 and can be done on-line at <a href="http://www.sifca.org">www.sifca.org</a>.
