Paulie Glasco
<p style="line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Cambria;">Mr. Paulie Glasco, age 86 of Cobden, died at 10:14 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2012 at his home in rural Cobden. He was born January 19, 1926 in Jonesboro, the son of Lowell and Rosa Leggens Glasco. He married Stella Toler on November 12, 1948 in Cobden.</span></strong></p>
<p style="line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Cambria;"><span style=""> </span> Paulie is survived by his wife, Stella Glasco of Cobden; two daughters, Brenda (John) Melfi and Kay (Dalton) Mathis all of Cobden; two sons, Mike (LouAnn) Glasco of Johnson City, Bruce (Lynn) Glasco of Cobden; five grandchildren, Jason (Jamie) Glasco, Misty (Butch) Browning, Bridget Glasco, Laura (Shawn) Gossett, Autumn Mathis; four great grandchildren, Dravon Glasco, Breana Glasco, Hayden Glasco, and Sandy Browning; one sister, Wilma Thetford of Cobden; two brothers, Troy Glasco and Roy Glasco, both of Cobden; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.</span></strong></p>
<p style="line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Cambria;"><span style=""> </span> Paulie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cobden. He was a member of the Labor Local 1330. He was retired from the construction industry.</span></strong></p>
<p style="line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Cambria;"><span style=""> </span> Paulie proudly served his country in the United States Army.</span></strong></p>
<p style="line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Cambria;"><span style=""> </span> Funeral services for Mr. Paulie Glasco will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2012 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden with Pastor Ed Falgout officiating. Interment will be in the Cobden Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. and until the service hour on Thursday, March 22, 2012. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in Cobden or to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden.</span></strong></p>
