Patsy Bonita Barnhart Etherton

<p class="p1">Patsy Bonita Barnhart Etherton, 78, of Anna, died at 9:20 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, surrounded by her family.</p><p class="p2">She was born on March 18, 1936, in Jonesboro, the daughter of William and Ruth Agnes Turner Barnhart.</p><p class="p2">She married Jack Etherton on Feb. 14, 1964.</p><p class="p2">She worked as an LPN at City Care of Anna and Mulberry Manor. She enjoyed playing cards, working on crossword puzzles and was a reading enthusiast. She was a member of Church of God in Anna.</p><p class="p2">She is survived by her husband, Jack Etherton of Anna; a son, David Etherton of Anna; daughters Jackie Etherton of Anna and Becky (Steve) Fornear of Olive Branch; grandsons Michael (Jessi) Rogers of Cobden and Marcus Etherton; great-granddaughter Henley Rogers of Cobden; brothers William (Sarah) Barnhart of Marshall and Barney (Joyce) Barnhart of Dongola; and a sister, Jennie (Jack) Bridgeman of Anna.</p><p class="p2">She was preceded in death by her parents; and by two nephews, Jim Bridgeman and Tom Bridgeman.</p><p class="p2">Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, at Crain Funeral Home Anna-Jonesboro with Gregory Etherton officiating.</p><p class="p2">Memorials can be made to the Anna Rehab and Nursing Center activities fund.</p><p class="p2">Crain Funeral Home Anna-Jonesboro was in charge of arrangements.</p><p class="p2">To leave online condolences, visit www.crainsonline.com.</p>
