Patricia L. Mulder

<p class="p1">Patricia L. Mulder, 80, of Cobden, died Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at 3:20 p.m. at Manor Court of Carbondale.</p><p class="p1">She was born on Dec. 29, 1934, the daughter of John and Virginia Walsh Stuart, in Chicago.</p><p class="p1">She married Henry Mulder Sr. on Oct. 3, 1953. Together they shared 61 years of marriage.</p><p class="p1">She was a homemaker and took care of her five children. She was intellectual, liked to read and was a poet.</p><p class="p1">She is survived by her husband, Henry Mulder Sr. of Cobden; her children, Jan Bender of Cobden, Sandra French of Bradenton, Florida, Henry Mulder Jr. of Cobden, Michael (Susan) Mulder of Pittsboro, North Carolina, and Patrick Mulder of Cobden; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, with one on the way; siblings Edna Lavigne of Florida, Joe Stuart of Florida, Joan Einhorn of Texas, and John Stuart of Oklahoma; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.</p><p class="p1">She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.</p><p class="p1">Services for Mrs. Mulder were private.</p><p class="p1">Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro was in charge of arrangements.</p><p class="p1">To leave online condolences, visit www.crainsonline.com.</p>
