Vicky Lee Arnold, 71, of Anna, died Friday, Dec. 13, 2024, at her home. 

She was born on July 22, 1953, in Anna, the daughter of William “Deak” and Helen Fuller Arnold.

She is survived by her daughter, Kerry Arnold of Jonesboro; grandchildren Natalie Lorenz-Metzger, Jennifer McPherson and Zackery Lorenz; great-grandchildren Nevaeh, Eli, Andromeda, Kyla and Kenzie; sister Connie Arnold of Anna; special niece and caregiver Jackie Penrod of Jonesboro; numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and  by two sisters, Darlene Turner and Cathy Evans.

She served in U.S. Navy. Her time there instilled within her a love of traveling. She took trips to Israel and Alaska, as well as taking her nieces and nephews on many trips to Six Flags. 

She enjoyed all types of needlework and was a voracious reader. She also served as a Girl Scout leader, mentoring her family and many others. 

Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Funeral services for Vicky Lee Arnold will be at noon Saturday, Dec. 21, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Interment will follow in Big Creek Cemetery. 

Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post No. 3455 of the VFW in Anna and the U.S. Navy honor guard.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service hour at noon on Saturday, Dec. 21, at the funeral home.

Memorials can be made to Carroll P. Foster Post No. 3455 of the VFW in Ana. Envelopes will be available at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home.
