Todd Allen Bush

Todd Allen Bush, 57, of Jonesboro, died Thursday, April 6, 2023, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. 

He was born on March 16, 1966, in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., the son of Thomas Allen and Sandra Lee Altonen Bush.

Mr. Bush is survived by his mother, Sandra Lee Bush; sister Cindy (Douglas) Allen; three nephews, William Allen, Benjamin Allen and Samuel Allen, all of Anna; a cousin, Patricia (Jimi) Thompson of Metropolis; dear friend Brenda Dirden of Jonesboro; close friends and caregivers Brian (Mary) Kerr of Anna. He was preceded in death by his father.

He served in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Ranger. He held various positions over his career until his health forced him into early retirement.

Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Friday, April 14, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with Douglas Allen officiating. 

Military rites will be conducted at the funeral home by Carroll P. Foster Post No. 3455 of the VFW in Anna and the Illinois Army National Guard military funeral honor team. 

Friends can visit after 2 p.m. and until the service at 4 p.m. on Friday, April 14, at the funeral home.
