Sue Masters

Sue Masters, 63, of Mounds, Illinois died at 1:54 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2022, at her residence, with her family by her side. 

She was born on June 29, 1958, in Campbell, Mo., the daughter of Melson David “Hoot” and Zelpha Mae Williams Morris. 

She was a retail sales clerk for over 20 years at convenience stores.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Danny Masters Sr.; a son, Danny (Michelle) Masters Jr.; daughters Christina (Samuel G.) Hood and Kelly Masters (James Farrell); grandchildren Treston and Matthew Masters, Clinton Hood and Tyler Farrell; sisters Judy Springfield, Alice Whiteside, Vickie Green, Loura Bone and Julia Sterneau; a brother, David Morris; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 9, at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge. The Rev. Joe McCullough officiated. Interment followed in the Masonic Cemetery in Olmsted.
