Stacy J. Bennett

Stacy J. Bennett, 61, of Cobden, died Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on Dec. 23, 1961, in Joliet, the daughter of Samuel L. and Shirley Miller Reichert. 

She married Ed Bennett on Aug. 18, 1984.

She is survived by her husband, Ed Bennett of Cobden; three sons, Edwin “Scott” (Megan) Bennett of Cape Girardeau, Samuel “Bo” (Bethany) Bennett of Cobden and Steven “Mikey” Bennett of Anna; four grandchildren, Ella, Lane, Reichert and Connor Bennett and one more on the way. 

She is also survived by a sister, Sharon Reichert of Arizona; a brother, Scott Reichert of Herrin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother, Samuel Reichert II. 

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her favorite times were spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
