Shirley Fox

Shirley Fox, 71, of McClure, died Monday, Jan. 22, 2024, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on June 16, 1952, the daughter of J C and Christine James Ricketts. 

She was a devoted and loving wife and mother and loved her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading and was a great homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph; daughters Amy (Douglas) Anderson and Pamela (Doug) Dillow; eight grandchildren, Ariel, Adam, Cierra, Cooper, Destiny, Bridget, Krysten and Dakota; nine great-grandchildren, Henry, Isabel, Zayden, Sophia, Evelyn, Avery, River, Bryson and Lily; and siblings Dorothy, Brenda and Mike.

She was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren, Makaylee and Conner, and several siblings.

Private services were held at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola. Burial was in Friendship Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Crain Funeral Home.
