Sharon K. Malone

Sharon K. Malone, 81, of Jonesboro, died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. 

She was born on June 20, 1941, in Anna, the daughter of Archie and Pearl Shepard Barker. 

She married Larry Malone on Dec. 14, 2000 in Anna. 

She is survived by her husband, Larry Malone; four sisters, Pam Pind, Jan (Melvin) Brown, Shelby Brown and Brenda (Charles) Durham; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Shirley Hanney and Karen Smith; and two brothers, Sonny and Gary Barker.

She was a member of Landmark Pentecostal Church in Anna. She loved taking care of people and her home. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and going on shopping trips. Most of all, she loved her family and spending time with them.

Funeral services for Sharon Malone were at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Interment followed in Jonesboro Cemetery.
