Ruth Diane Wiseman-Mathis

Ruth Diane Wiseman-Mathis, age 63 of Wolf Lake, passed away Monday, Dec. 22, 2025 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo. 

She was born on Nov. 8, 1962 in Anna, the daughter of Carl Lee Wiseman, Sr. and Helen Wiseman-Russell. She married Bobby Mathis.

Diane is survived by her husband, Bobby Mathis; children, Rusty Smith (Sarah Pearl), Bobby Wayne Mathis, CJ Mathis and Catherine Poynor; grandchildren, Hunter (Maddy) Smith, Jake (Cym) Smith, Kelci Lynn Baber, Brantlee Smith, Everett Mathis, Anthony Mathis, Elyjah Mathis and Remmy Mathis; great-grandchildren, Asher, Tatum, Aubree and another due in March; sister in law, Toni (Chris) Livengood; brother in law, Mike (Brooksie) Mathis; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Franklin Norris and Carl Lee Wiseman, Jr.

 Diane enjoyed camping, reading and fishing. Her greatest love was her family, especially her grandkids. She will certainly be missed.

 Funeral services for Ruth Diane Wiseman-Mathis were  held on Tuesday, Dec. 30 at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Bro. Bobby Richardson officiating.
