Ruby L. Clover Black
Ruby L. Clover Black, 101, of Pasadena, Texas, and formerly of Pomona, died Saturday, March 23, 2024, at her home.
She was born on July 26, 1922, in Pomona, the daughter of Monroe Edward and Lena Merle Franklin Clover.
Her husband, Aaron Charles “Johnny” Black, preceded her in death on Nov. 17, 1991.
She is survived by two daughters, Ruby Charlene Windham and Barbara Lynne (Keith) Lupardus; grandchildren Darlene Ellen (Jaime) Hall, Timothy “Tim” Allen (Merine) Lyon, Tammy Louise Lyon, Betty Jo (Ian) Schlueter, Christine Kay Lyon (Julie Degroot), Fawn Cheri (James) Walker and Aaron Shea Lupardus; 11 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; daughters Mary Joanne Black, Bonnie Sue (William “Bill”) Lyon, Betty Lee Black and Sharon Faye Black; and brothers Hubert Louie (Mary) Clover, Leonard Ray (Barbara) Clover and Ralph Edward (Beulah) Clover.
Funeral services for Ruby Black were at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Interment followed in Mt. Pleasant-Jerusalem Cemetery in Pomona.
