Roger Turner

Roger Turner, 59, of Cobden, died at 11:55 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2016, at his home.

He was born on Oct. 19, 1956, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of James H. and Lenora L. Coleman Turner.

He married Debbie Davis on Sept. 14, 1985, in Union County.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Turner of Cobden; one son, Roger Jr. (Elizabeth) Turner of Jonesboro; two daughters, Kimberly Gilles and Nicole Gabbert, both of Peoria; five grandchildren; one brother, David Coleman of Fort Scott, Kan.; three sisters, Leona (Jimmy) Richardson of McClure, Judy (Mike) Ogden of Sikeston and Deborah (Carl) Elliott of East Cape Girardeau; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.

Funeral services for Mr. Turner were at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with Enloe Clemons and the Rev. Bobby Richardson officiating. Internment was in the Friendship Cemetery in Dongola.
