Robert Eugene Parker

Robert Eugene Parker, 62, of Carbondale, and formerly of Mound City, died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024, at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born on May 8, 1962, in Cairo, the son of Leslie and Azonia Louise Wilson Parker in Cairo.

He is survived by his siblings, Leslie (Shirley) Parker of Olmsted, Cheryl (Lynn) James of Delta, Donald (Amy) Parker of Chatham and Bonny (Tony) Jackson of Ullin; daughter Danielle (Joe) Brimm of Herrin; son Joshua Parker of Jonesboro; grandchildren Aubrey Parker,  Joella Brimm, Josie Brimm and Jonah Brimm; and his pets, Angel and Alfalfa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Linda Parker.

No services have been made at this time. An inurnment will take place at a later date at the Masonic Cemetery in Olmsted.

Memorials can be made donations to help fund a monument for him. 

The cremation of Robert Eugene Parker has been personally handled by the staff of Crain Funeral Home.

Crain Funeral Home in Ullin is in charge of arrangements.
