Richard Pietrowski, 72, of Mount Vernon, died at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon.
He was born on Feb. 3, 1949, in Chicago. He had retired from auto parts delivery in the Chicago area.
He is survived by his son, Mike Pietrowski of Vienna; four grandsons, Justin, Jeremy and David Pietrowski of Vienna and Michael Pietrowski of Chicago.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Stella Pietrowski; a sister, Ann Wilson; and a brother, Butch Pietrowski.
Per the family’s request, cremation was accorded, with inurnment to be held at a later date at the Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Ill.
Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak is in charge of arrangements.
