Reynaldo Calderon Garcia

Reynaldo Calderon Garcia, age 70 of Cobden, passed away Monday, Sept. 8, 2025 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. 

He was born on April 18, 1955 in Guanajuato, Mexico, the son of Arcadio Calderon Nava and Isidra Garcia Guzman. He married Susana Diaz.

Reynaldo is survived by his wife, Susana; children, Maria Cruz Calderon Diaz, Geraldo Calderon Diaz, Rosa Calderon Diaz and Cleto Calderon Diaz; grandchildren, Noe Zamora, Brisa, Alina, Eliana, Camila Sarai and Anthony Calderon, Jose Manuel and Fernando Lopez and Jhonathan and Bryan Portillo; father, Arcadio Calderon Nava; brothers, Angel, Joventino, Pino, Isidro and Pedro Calderon; sister, Maria luz Calderon; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Reynaldo was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cobden. In the past, he worked for the Anna Nursery.

Funeral mass for Reynaldo Calderon Garcia was held on Friday, Sept. 12, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cobden with Father Uriel Salamanca as celebrant. 

Interment followed in St. Joseph Cemetery.
