Rayetta Lynn Smith, 64, of Buncombe, died at 4:50 a.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at Union County Hospital in Anna.
She was born on Feb. 27, 1953, in Denver, Colo., the daughter of Raymond and Goldie Hagaman Stanton.
She is survived by her former husband, Elvis H. Smith of Buncombe; two daughters, Dianna Smith of Metropolis and Elisha (Brett) Lewis of Memphis, Tenn.; and one grandchild, Jordyn Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
