Patsy Evans

Patsy Darlene Evans, 66, of Cobden, died Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Jonesboro Rehab in Jonesboro. 

She was born on April 25, 1957, in Union County, the daughter of Jesse Marion and Grace Louise Walker Johns. 

She married Jackie “Jack” Dean Evans on June 1, 1980. He preceded her in death on Aug. 10, 2008.

She is survived by her children, Jacqueline Darlene Tellor of Anna, Daniel Lee Rowley of Jacksonville, Fla., and Cory Wade Rowley of O’Fallon, Mo.; grandchildren Tanner, Darrion, Wyatt, Dakota, Kalub, Draven, Cooper, Abagail, Lilyana, Khloe and Ayla; two great-grandchildren; sisters Linda (Gary) Faire of Jonesboro, Stella (Rodney) Plott of Anna and Sheila (Edward) Plott of Anna; brothers Jesse (Kim) Johns of Clinton and Lonnie (Linda) Johns of Wolf Lake; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Dean Evans; her parents; brothers Raymond, Ralph and Mark Johns; and sisters Marion Parmly, Maxine Brimm and Pamla Johns.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 24, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with the Rev. Danny Jones officiating. Interment followed the service at the Alto Pass Cemetery in Alto Pass.
