Ollie Bernice Eudy
Ollie Bernice Eudy, 83, of Anna, and formerly of Jonesboro, died at 3:50 a.m. Friday, March 31, 2017, at Union County Long Term Care in Anna.
She was born on Aug. 26, 1933, in Jonesboro, the daughter of Fred and Laverne Houseman Mayberry.
She married Ernest Earl “Bus” Eudy on Sept. 30, 1949, in Jonesboro. He preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 2006.
She is survived by her son, Ernie Eudy of Buchanan, Tenn.; a brother, Larry (Kathy) Mayberry of Michigan; grandchildren Elizabeth Eudy and Quinn (Tara) Eudy; a great-grandchild, Rylan Eudy; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ernest Earl “Bus” Eudy; a son, Eddie Eudy; and a sister and brother, Mary Ann O’Neal and Paul Mayberry.
She was a member of the Anna Heights Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing and was very active with the church bus ministry for many years. She worked as a beautician most of her life.
Funeral services for Mrs. Eudy were at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 2, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with the Rev. Darryl Williams officiating. Interment was in the Jonesboro Cemetery.
