Norma Edwards

Norma Edwards, 80, of Olmsted, died Monday, Oct. 5, 2020, at her home.

She was born on Nov. 22, 1939, in Makanda, the daughter of Homer and Sibyl Smith Jones. 

She married Richard Edwards on June 25, 1958.

She is survived by her husband, Richard of Olmsted; two sons, John (Trish) Edwards of Olmsted and Larry (Jeanette) Edwards of Goreville; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Gib (JoAnn) Jones of Dongola, Wendel Jones of Anna and Jim (Bonnie) Jones of Vienna; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death her parents and by two brothers, Clifford and Tommy Jones.

There will be no public service for Norma Edwards. Family and friends are encouraged to stop by the family home at 291 Paradise St. in Olmsted to pay their respects. Interment will take place at a later date in the Olmsted Masonic Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and will be accepted at the funeral home.
