Nora Carmona

Nora Carmona, 34, of Murphysboro, died Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. 

She was born on Aug. 18, 1989, in Santiago Maravatío, Mexico, the daughter of Pastor Carmona Lopez and Alicia Morales Murillo.

She is survived by her parents, Pastor and Alicia Carmona; a daughter, Aleya Adalee Carmona; siblings Pastor, Martin, Jose and Daniella Carmona Morales; many aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Mass for Nora Carmona was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cobden, with Father Uriel Salamanca officiating. Interment followed in the Cobden Cemetery. 

The Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Monday, April 15, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden.
