Nicholas Robin Dillon

Nicholas Robin Dillon, 47, of Anna, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024.

Nicholas was born on June 24, 1977, in Cape Girardeau, the son of Robin A. and Betsy Womick Dillon.

He was a 1995 graduate of Anna-Jonesboro Community High School. He worked as a manager for United Rx Pharmaceuticals. 

He coached Junior Wildcat Football and recently was made Assistant Coach of varsity football at A-J. 

Nicholas was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and a fan of the Chicago Bears. He was of Christian faith. 

Nick was a big-hearted soul who never knew a stranger and would help anyone in need. He loved his daughter, Hanah, with all his heart. He loved his friends and had many. He loved his family. His personality was larger than life and will be so very missed.

Survivors include his daughter, Hanah Dillon; mother, Betsy (Evan) Stewart; father, Robin (Debbie) Dillon; sisters Amanda Dillon (Michael Bigler), Stephanie Bowen (Kayla Quertermous), Kristen (Jeremy) Stegle and Julie Pierce; brother Tim (Sarah) Stewart; girlfriend Sarah Sanders; nieces Lilly Tripp, Katie Stegle, Lauryn Stegle and Ashtyn Pierce; nephews Logan Pierce, Jack Stewart, Liam Stewart and Jack Bigler; grandmother Hazel Stewart; step-children Raegan Sanders, Emma Sanders and Lexi Sanders; special cousins Matt Dillon, Adam Dillon, Nate Kirt, Alex Kirt, Dee Dee Blakely, Rick Kirt, Jeremiah Womick, Jessie Wells, Carol (Mike) Wagner and Adam Whiting; and numerous family and other friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Edith (Lacy) Dillon, Ted and Winnie Womick, Fred and Nora Chamness; uncles Everett Dillon, Jack (Joyce) Dillon and Roger Dillon; aunt Dorothy Kirt and uncle Don Kirt; uncle David Ury; and cousin Randy Kirt.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, at Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro. Bill Littrell officiated. Memorials can be made to the A-J Huddle Club. 

The cremation of Nicholas Robin Dillon was personally handled by the staff of Crain Funeral Home.

Immediately following the service, the A-J Huddle Club hosted a meal in the cafeteria at Anna-Jonesboro Community High School.
