Michael Tygett

Michael Tygett, 68, of Marion, and formerly of Anna, died at 8:58 a.m. Friday, Dec. 24, 2021, at Heartland Regional Medical Center. 

He was born on Nov. 14, 1953, in Anna, the son of Myron Gene and Lillie Jane Graves Tygett in Anna.

He graduated from Anna-Jonesboro Community High School in 1971. He held several different jobs during his life, including painting, maintenance and carpentry, when he lived in Texas. When he was in painting, he was a union painter. He attended church in Marion.

Mr. Tygett is survived by his son, Donald Gene Tygett of Mississippi; a brother, Richard Wayne Tygett of Herrin; and many cousins, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Tygett was preceded in death by his parents; maternal grandparents Nora and Ray Graves; and paternal grandparents John Edward and Ina Louise Cozby Tygett.

Cremation rites will be accorded. No services are scheduled at this time. 

Memorials can be made to the American Stroke Association.
