Mary Virginia ‘Jean’ Brown

Mary Virginia “Jean” Brown, 95, of Anna, died Monday, July 25, 2022, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born on Sept. 20, 1926, the daughter of Leo and Cora Millis Basler.

She married the love of her life, Revis M. Brown, on Dec. 20, 1958. He preceded her in death on Sept. 6, 2019.

She is survived by friends Leonard (Connie) Sadler of Anna; niece Margaret (Larry) Dale and family; and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Revis M. Brown; her parents; two brothers and one sister.

Mrs. Brown was laid to rest with her husband at the Mound City National Cemetery on Monday, Aug. 1.
