Mary Sue Moody Holhubner
Mary Sue Moody Holhubner, 84, of Olmsted, died at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023, at her home.
She was born on July 20, 1939, in Hickory Flats, Miss.
She held different jobs throughout her working career. She had worked in the healthcare field in administration and in the emergency room. She had also worked in the field of fashion and modeling. She loved spending time with her family and traveling.
She is survived by her husband, George Holhubner; two sons, Scott and Donna Banks of Choctaw, Okla., and Carl and Yasamin Hice of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; one daughter, Rhonda and Danny Thompson of Farmington, Mo.; stepchildren Ed and Donna Holhubner, Steve and Sheila Holhubner and Mark and Kristy Holhubner; six grandchildren, Chase and Devin Banks, Khristian Audon and Tyler Hice, Hunter Thompson and Heather Bales; step-grandchildren Chris and Sara Holhubner, Lucas and Melissa Holhubner and Max and Jill Holhubner, Tyler and Taylor Holhubner, Adam Holhubner; six great-grandchildren, Truly, Tough and Wilder Banks, Michael and Emma Audon and Kylie Hice; and step-great-grandchildren Lindsey Holhubner and Tommy Holhubner.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Doris Seger Moody, and by a grandson, Nick Cowles.
Funeral services honoring the life of Mary Sue Moody Holhubner were at noon Thursday, Nov. 16, at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak. The Rev. Freddie Brown officiated. Interment followed at Christian Chapel Cemetery near Dongola.
