Marilyn Sue Henson Leach

Marilyn Sue Henson Leach, 76, of Jonesboro, died Friday, June 16, 2023, at the Union County Hospital in Anna. 

She was born on March 18, 1947, in Salem, the daughter of Vern and Ruth McCluskey Henson.

She is survived by her significant other, Eddie Reynolds of Jonesboro; daughter Karen Lewis of West Frankfort; granddaughter Mandy Greuter; great-granddaughter Makiya Jamison; two brothers, Carroll Henson of Dongola and Roger Hartline of Anna; a sister, Teresa Halterman of Tennessee; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Tommy Gonzalez; a daughter, Tammy Sue Baggott; a grandson, Jeremy Greuter; siblings Elice Lowe, Loretta Money, Louise Mobley, Melba Mixon and Vern Henson Jr.

She owned and operated Marilyn’s Roadhouse in Elgin for many years. 

Graveside funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, June 19, at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Dongola, with Robert Loveless officiating. Interment immediately followed.
