Marie Henderson

Marie Henderson, 71, of Olive Branch, died Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at her home.

She was born on June 27, 1951, in Cairo, the daughter of Lolly Voss and Martha Genevieve Belangee Christian.  

She married Ted Henderson. He preceded her in death in 2005.

Survivors include her children, Clinton (Christal) Henderson, Adam (Meghan) Henderson, Ellen (Dickie) Barnes, Beverly (Jerry) Held; Glenn Henderson and Vernon (Lois) Henderson; 22 grandchildren, Realyn (Luke), Anthony, Lilly, Kimberly; Macen, Roland, Todd, Emmalea (Adam), Kevin (Tomomi), Joshua (Angie), Kayla (Chris), Bethany (Dajohn), Jeremy (Shawna), Bobby, Tracey, Joseph (Ashley), Tina, Jamie, Mindy (Michael), Carla (David), Madalyn; and Drake; 27 great-grandchildren; a niece, Connie; a great-niece, Amy (Randy); and a great-nephew, Michael (Jamae).

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Rodney Henderson; a sister, Reba (Robert) Sams; grandchildren Brandy McKee and Matthew Henderson; a niece, Rita Blankenship; and a nephew, Bryon Busby.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Friday, May 5, at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms, with the Rev. Brent Gordon officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Zion Cemetery. 

Memorials can be made to Crain Funeral Home to help the family with expenses.
