Margaret Ann Lang

Margaret Ann Lang, 81, of Jonesboro, died at 4:38 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. 

She was born on July 12, 1937, in Cobden, the daughter of Ralph James and Daisy Audrey Schumacher Turner. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her son, Johnnie Jake Ray of Michigan; daughters Jennifer Hileman and Mary Margaret Ray; brothers Jim (Anna Belle) Turner of Anna, John (Kathy) Turner of Liberty, S.C., and Jacob Turner; sisters Mary (Willard) Bloodworth of Granite City and Lucille (Mike) Puckett of Sparta; several grandchildren; her companion, John Cook; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Donnie Joe Ray; a granddaughter, Bethany Johnson; a brother, Charles Thomas Turner; and a sister, Marilyn Kay Vincent Palmer.

Cremation will be accorded and services will be announced at a later date.

Memorials can be made to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
