Marcelo Amezquita

Marcelo Amezquita, 41, of Cobden, died Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at his home. 

He was born on July 23, 1982, the son of Pastor and Griselda Flores Amezquita. He married Alma Duran.

He is survived by his wife, Alma Duran Amezquita; children Jennifer and Elizabeth Amezquita and David Duran; siblings Fidel, Marin, Alejandro and Armando Amezquita; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Griselda Flores-Amezquita.

Funeral Mass for Marcelo Amezquita was celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, July 12, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cobden, with Father Uriel Salamanca as celebrant. Interment followed in the Cobden Cemetery.
