Louise Willyerd

Louise Willyerd, 79, of Jonesboro, died Saturday, April 13, 2019, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on March 13, 1940, at home, the daughter of Clayton A. and Lula Irene Smiley Sivia. 

She married James F. “Bud” Willyerd on July 21, 1958, in Dongola. He preceded her in death on Oct. 27, 1997.

She is survived by her daughter, Jamie Willyerd of Jonesboro; a son, Todd (Stacy) Willyerd of Jonesboro; a brother, Eugene Sivia of Vandalia; three sisters, Bobbie Holcombe of Douglasville, Ga., June Sivia of Texas and Diane Depper of Tullahoma, Tenn.; lifelong friend Adra Jones of Dongola; other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and by her husband, James F. “Bud” Willyerd.

She worked many years as a beautician and was the custodian and bus driver for the Jonesboro Grade School until her retirement.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with R.W. McAlister officiating. Interment was in Camp Ground Cemetery.
