Lois Ann Carr

Lois Ann Carr, 67, of Dongola, died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024, at her home.

She was born on Oct. 18, 1956, in Bertrand, Mo., the daughter of Richard and Ella Lois Dean Thurman.

She was married to Jesse Carr. He preceded her in death.

She was an avid fan of the “Adam 12” and “Murder, She Wrote” television shows.

Survivors include her daughter, Melissa Rider, son-in-law Matthew Rider and step-granddaughter Bethany Rider.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. 

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, today, at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola.

Memorials can be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses. Memorial envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

The cremation of Lois Ann Carr has been personally handled by the staff of Crain Funeral Home.
