Lindell ‘Link’ Warren
Lindell “Link” Warren, 77, of Olive Branch, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born on Oct. 3, 1946, in Pulaski, the son of Elige and Lois Robertson Warren.
He was married to Cathy Elmore Warren and she passed July 30, 2022.
Link was a hard worker and his many occupations included tower construction where he worked as an assembler, water tower painting, tree trimming, logging and house restoration (including log cabin restoration). Some projects included the Cairo Public Library.
While not working, he loved to fish and hunt. He was a member of Mighty Rivers Regional Worship Center in Cairo, where he sang in the choir. He and Cathy hosted the church picnic every year.
Survivors include his daughter, Paula (Tony) Kirby; sons Jason (Gayla) Warren and Joseph Warren; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; eight siblings, Darrell (Pearl) Warren, Clint (Shirley) Warren, Deloris (Woody) Martin, Shirley (James) Dunn, Danny (Jane) Warren, Rick (Scarlett) Warren, Terry (Darlene) Warren and Tim Warren; and many beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sons, Kevin Warren and Scott Warren; granddaughter Jessie Kirby; and brothers Johnny Warren and Buddy Warren.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola, with the Rev. Ken Wilson officiating.
Interment followed the funeral service at Meisenheimer Cemetery in Dongola.
