Linda Lee Roberts

Linda Lee Roberts, 73, of Jonesboro, died at 10:35 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2023, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

She was born on Jan. 12, 1950, in Anna, the daughter of Herman Edward and Gladys Mae Miller Houseman. 

She was a veteran who served in the U.S. Army. She received an undergraduate degree in computer programming and worked as a computer programmer. In her spare time, she loved to study genealogy, crochet and travel. She was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary. 

She is survived by her son, Brian Roberts; grandsons Xachary Roberts and Xander Roberts; granddaughter Emma Mae Roberts; sisters Betty Lou Dillow and Tammy Murphy; a brother, Lonnie (Sheila) Houseman; and other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by her fiancé, Larry Bo Hardin.

Funeral services were at 7 p.m. Friday, June 23, at Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro, with the Rev. Darryl Williams officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date.
