Kathryn “Kathy” J. Glasco

Kathryn “Kathy” J. Glasco, age 67, of Chaffee, passed away at her home on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025.

She was born on Nov. 14, 1958 to Wendell George and Mabel (Merriman) Carter in Anna, Ill. 

On Dec. 5, 2002, she married Ricky Glasco and have shared over 23 years together.

Kathy had worked for 33 years in the Circuit Clerks office administrating probate for the elected judges. 

She enjoyed sitting around a campfire and being outdoors. Kathy was a homebody and loved her family.

Survivors include her husband, Ricky of Chaffee, Mo.; aunt and uncle, Bob (Suzie) Kessler of Anna, Ill.; step-daughter, Jennifer (Bruce) Hill of Sparta, Ill.; step-grandchildren, Damian Lanton, Reagan Hill, Samara Hill; along with nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her step-son, Carl Glasco in 2002.

Funeral Services were held on Monday, Dec. 29, 2025  with Carl Dillow officiating at Crain Funeral Home in Anna. 

Interment will follow the service at McGinnis Cemetery.

Crain Funeral Home in Anna, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
